MAHALO

Mahalo! CCFA's Team Challenge participants in the 2009 Kona half marathon raised over $1 million dollars to help find a cure for Crohn's disease. Also, these funds will go towards research to discover better treatment options for those with CD or ulcerative colitis. Also, those participants in the recent Napa to Sonoma race (July 2009) raised over $2.5 million dollars!!!

A BIG MAHALO to those that donated. Your donations helped (i) raise awareness of these diseases; and (ii) helped raise much needed research dollars.

At the pre-race pasta party, we heard testimonies from 2 patients. One young lady lost her sister to Crohn's disease before she was diagnosed herself with Crohn's. Also, we heard an emotional story from Julio Barreto, Jr.
